For IELTS task one you need to write 150 words in 3 to 4 paragraphs. If you write less than 150 words or more than 170 words, you will be penalized. Here’s some IELTS writing task 1 tips to improve your writing. In the very 1^st  paragraph, you will need to paraphrase the question. Start the paraphrase with one of the next prompts,

‘The desk shows/illustrates the fads in …. between …….

The graph/chat/table shows……

The graph shows the way the ….. have changed ……

Don’t include below in your paraphrase.

Write a synopsis as you second phrase of your intro. Go through the beginning and the finish of the graph to help determine your analysis.

Make a decision if the graph you are talking about is an evaluation, development or both. You need to use the correct language for each and every type. For instance, if it’s comparative ,  use ‘the same as’ or if it’s intensifying, use ‘ hook increase’.

Change noun and adjectives phrases into verbs and adverbs to make a selection of expressions, for example ‘a little increase’ to ‘increase somewhat’. Also, make an effort to learn a few various ways to say a similar thing so you need not replicate yourself (‘increase’, ‘go up’, ‘climb’). Remember you’ll be designated on your vocabulary range and correctness.

Describe the most standard movements in second paragraph, like the most eye-catching characteristics.

You need to include linker to help your article to help using its cohesion and coherence; quite simply, it’s flow. Below are a few useful expressions: in addition, furthermore, however, although.

In another paragraph you will need to give a far more detailed description.  You nevertheless still need to give attention to main tendencies, but concentrate more on elements within every part of the graph (For a decade, there is a gradual upwards style until it peaked at 250units in 2002, accompanied by a drop.). Add data to aid your information.

Don’t summarize all small details as this creates lists which appear mechanical.

Rather than writing :It travelled up by 2% and then fallen up 5%, then increased again for 24 months, and again decreased by 2%.

Write: It fluctuated between 5% and 2% for the first one fourth of the entire year.

You don’t need to write a final result, but it creates the writing seem to be more complete if you carry out.

Remember spelling and punctuation count up towards accuracy.
